Cassells at Midtown Cellars

Jordan James Cassells

Sun 28 May 6:00pm - 7:30pm

Free, no booking required

405 Sturt St, Ballarat Central VIC 3350, Australia

Swaying in and out of vocal styles while still remaining original, and weaving in between emotionally driven lyrical content, Cassells will be delivering an even keel performance of both spoken poetry and song at Midtown Cellars.

Playing a range of upcoming content from his new album and book set to be released later this year. Cassells will also present covers, older favourites from his self-titled album and his first anthology of poetry The House of Honesty.

Presented by Everybody Knows Books
Everybody Knows Books is a second-hand bookshop in central Ballarat. We love books, and we like to do things a little differently. We have lots of books, but rather than fill the shop up with bookshelves we've left things open and easy to browse. This also allows us to use our shop for special events, like music gigs and book signings. And it leaves room for comfy chairs so you can peruse your books at leisure.

Cassells Performer

Deriving from the cold town of Ballarat, VIC Australia, ‘Cassells’ is the solo acoustic project founded by Jordan James Cassells in 2016. Blending alternative-rock, Indie-folk stylings with his signature baritone vocals. Cassells encapsulates stories of personal life events, surrounded by sentiments of love, loss, metanoia, world-weariness, and everything within the human condition into mementos of sound.
