Public Platform is a new publishing initiative from Geelong-based contemporary arts organisation Platform Arts. Public Platform works through expanded modes of publishing to capture and redistribute the productive and open-ended public dialogue that is core to the production of contemporary art.

Public Platform works closely with a range of local and international creative practitioners to extend the process-initiated narratives obscured in traditional presentation outcomes that are at the heart of artistic output. With a focus on collaboration and co-production, Public Platform is an experiment in ways of making public that make the institution permeable for artistic intervention and agency beyond traditional gallery outcomes.
