Sonntag Press

Sonntag Press was established in 2020 by Brigid Moriarty and Alex Ward as a way to help artists make books and provide a platform for new art writing. Projects include zines, catalogues, artists’ books, monographs and other forms of printed matter. Based on unceded Wurundjeri Country, Sonntag Press has worked alongside artists and writers including Stephen Bush, Jon Campbell, Domenico de Clario, Raafat Ishak, Rosslynd Piggott, Sophie Knezic, Anne Marsh, Terence Jaensch, Lisa Sullivan, and David Rosetzky. Brigid is an administrator and organiser working across the expanded field of contemporary art. Formerly Associate Director of Sutton Gallery, she is currently the editorial coordinator for HORIZONS, a new careers magazine published by Monash University’s Faculty of Art, Design and Architecture. Alex is a Graphic Designer and Co-Director of award winning studio, Pidgeon Ward.
